Dr Kathy Landvogt is Safeguarding Lead at Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand. This new role drives practice and policy change to underpin organisational safety and to ensure responses to former residents reflect justice, reconciliation and the value of each person.
Prior to taking up this role Kathy headed up Good Shepherd’s Women’s Research, Advocacy and Policy (WRAP) Centre, overseeing policy analysis, a research program and service evaluations in areas including service systems, family violence, economic abuse, forced marriage, women’s economic security and educational equity. Kathy is a social worker with experience in service delivery, management and consultancy, and has been an educator in tertiary, vocational and community settings. Her PhD explored links between identity, language and social citizenship within a feminist practice framework.
